Warranty Policy

This sets forth the warranty policy of Trek Bicycle Store UAE (‘Trek UAE’) from which you (‘Purchaser’) purchase your bicycle, bicycle spares and accessories.

This policy is applicable only to Trek UAE (Products’) described in the warranty documentation extended to the Purchaser along with the correlated invoice or the certificate in the website page for the product being questioned.

This warranty policy is subject to the provisions set forth herein and is subject to the terms and conditions as attached to this document (‘Warranty Terms and Conditions’).

Warranty period

  • Warranty period differs from product to product; for the correct certificate go to the specific product website, where the policies can then be downloaded/printed.
  • The warranty period starts on the date the products are purchased.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

  • This warranty policy is valid only for products sold in The United Arab Emirates or products purchased directly from an approved dealer
  • Bicycles are to be registered through Trek Care on the Trek website
  • Proof of purchase to be made available on return of the item
  • If the item defect is repairable, we are to be given the opportunity to repair the item in a timely manner
    • If the item is irreparable, a replacement item will be offered to the client
    • If there is no replacement for the item, a credit to the value of the item will be offered to the client
  • Warranties are not covered for:
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Improper assembly
    • Improper follow-up maintenance
    • Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold
    • Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
    • Bikes used for commercial activities, including those in rental, demo, or security fleets
  • A Trek UAE representative will have access to the defective Products
  • If the circumstances of the warranty appear suspicious, the representative shall have the right to invite other manufacturers’ representatives to evaluate the defected item.
  • Labour costs for installation of the Products are not covered under this warranty.
